The Journey
Decorativa's journey began in 2020 during the pandemic, when many of us were forced to re-evaluate our career objectives.
Following the saying, 'When life gives you lemons, make lemonade', I decided it was time to focus on my passion project - to create a luxury soft furnishings company that offers refined, handmade and sustainable home decoration. And so, in 2021, Decorativa was born.
Located in the South of France, between Monaco and Italy, means we can provide a high-quality service to the owners of superyachts, private residences and luxury estates in and around Monaco and the French and Italian Rivieras.
The Philosophy
I believe that interior decoration plays an essential role in how we feel in our homes and living spaces. My goal for Decorativa was to become a company that creates carefully handcrafted pieces that not only respect the environment, but that will become beloved items that will last a lifetime.
During the fabrication process, my objectives are to prioritise
eco-friendly, natural, and sustainable upholstery fabrics, to preserve the values of artisanal work, and to reduce emissions by sourcing locally produced materials.
Solutions
All our creations are handmade in our atelier in the South of France and are executed with minute attention to detail to ensure a long-lasting, high-quality product.
Add to this my many years experience in the luxury yacht industry, meaning I bring an in-depth understanding of the high standards expected as well as an extreme respect for clients' expectations to every project.
I prioritise sustainable upholstery fabrics, sourcing those made in France or Europe to ensure a short production circuit. I also source fabrics that comply with the European textiles' production standards, assuring quality and environmental safety.
